Leaders Hangouts
In the months where there are no CYC events, we run Leaders Hangouts.
Often they are day events for an afternoon or evening.
Some examples of past events are:
Ice cream and pool hangout
Worship Nights
Breakthrough at Capernwray
Leaders Hangout
Drop off: 7:30pm Friday 11th December 2026
Pick up: 9am Sun 13th December 2026
Ready for an epic day out with your fellow leaders? Join us for a hike across the incredible Tongariro Alpine Crossing! It's a great opportunity to challenge yourself, enjoy some amazing scenery, make memories and connect with other leaders outside of camp.
The plan: Accommodation: Stay at CYC on Friday and Saturday night.
Saturday: An early start as we head to Tongariro for the crossing. After the hike, we'll relax in the hot pools and grab dinner on the way home (dinner is at your own cost).
Pick-up: Sunday at 9am from CYC
Need to head home earlier? An optional pick-up on Saturday evening around 10:30pm is available.
Bring your adventurous spirit and get ready for a challenging, rewarding day with a great crew. We can't wait to tackle the crossing together!
